Medical Pedicures

Medical Pedicure:

Our Medical Pedicure is designed to address those persistent foot problems that can impact your day-to-day comfort and confidence. Whether you're dealing with calluses, corns, fissuring, or nails that are difficult to cut, we are here to help. Nail deformities such as onychogryphosis (thickened, curved nails), onychocryptosis (ingrown nails), or onychauxis (abnormally thickened nails) are conditions that we regularly treat, and we can provide immediate relief in most cases and also recommend preventative measures to reduce reoccurrence.

Medical Pedicure vs Advanced Medical Pedicure?

Our Medical Pedicure treatment is for individuals with moderate amount of callus, corns, light heel fissuring and lightly damaged/elongated nails.

Our Advanced Medical Pedicure treatment is designed for two circumstances:

  1. For those who have more significant amounts of calluses and corns, more heavily damaged nails and deep fissuring.

  2. For those who would like to treat themselves to a rejuvenation. This will include everything the normal MediPedi includes with the addition of Red/Blue or Green Light therapy, reflexology based foot massage.

Heel Fissuring (Cracked Heels): Deep cracks in the skin of the heels, often caused by dryness or pressure, can lead to pain and infection if left untreated.

Calluses: Thickened areas of skin that develop due to repeated friction or pressure, typically on the soles of the feet, which can cause discomfort when walking.

Corns: Small, hard patches of skin that form on the toes or other bony areas of the feet, often a result of pressure from ill-fitting shoes.

Onychocryptosis (Ingrown Toenails): A common condition where the edge of a toenail grows into the surrounding skin, causing pain, redness, and sometimes infection.

Involuted Nails (unguis convolutus): Nails that are curved or folded inward, often causing discomfort or pain due to pressure on the surrounding skin.

Onychauxis: Thickened nails that are often difficult to cut and may appear yellowish, a common issue with aging or nail trauma.

?

Retronychia: A condition where the toenail grows backward into the nail bed, often causing pain and infection.

Dystrophic Nails (abnormal nail growth): Nails that are growing unusually in terms of thickness, shape, look or with lines.

(Psoriasis above)

There are many more conditions that we would fill the internet with. If your concern isn't mentioned here give us a call/text or email and we will be able to help without a doubt!
